It’s one of my favorite things to do on the weekends. Walk or ride my bike to HOPE Farmers Market on the east side, or sometimes drive to check out other Austin area markets.
I love the vibrant, happy atmosphere. Of course there are food stands — produce and meats, eggs and cheese, homemade prepared foods like Indian paratha and a variety of flavored hummus; but there’s also hand-crafted jewelry, soaps, clothing, candles, woodwork, art, fair trade international goods, and much more.
